Moi - turkey has been in since 10.30, roasties and stuffing balls are in and looking good, onion gravy has been slow cooking for an hour. About to make the batter for the Yorkshire puds and boil the spuds for the mash.

All helped along with a plentiful helping of very non-festive Vodka n Redbull! Keeps me going!

Merry Christmas all!

Bloody hell, I wouldn't dream of trespassing on her territory.

However, I cooked the ham yesterday, and today I will put the smoked salmon onto the plates, and carve the turkey.

Dinner in 30 minutes, and the kitchen is smelling wonderful!
Rest of the day is planned as follows:-
lick
drink
party
drunk

Baked the ham last night, its now back in the oven at a high temp in preparation for the glaze. Spuds are done, gravy is simmering. Turkey is done, just needs a quick blast to crisp the skin. Sprouts and carrots only need a quick steam so I can just about make out the bloke waving the chequered flag in the distance.driving

Should all be ready for a 4pm feed. Not bad for a 7:30am start I think.

I'm doing the lot. And the extended family are now too hammered to drive back home, so I need to put extra on to sort them out.

Sod it, it'll either be glorius, or a riot. Either way, enough booze and who cares! Oh, and I'm half cut already typing this.

Merry Christmas everyone biggrin
