Well, there is still enough turkey and beef for a roast tomorrow...

Three days running then, but it's got to be done. Anyone else doing the same!?!?

how good is some cooked turkey good for if left in the fridge? got 2 takeaway plastic containers full of it, more then happy to plow through all of it mushed in a sandwich.

I've managed to eat all the meat now but still have various sad vegatables.

Can you crisp up 2 day old roast potatoes in the deep fat fryer and how healthy would they be?

Just stick em in a frying pan with a bit of olive oil, toss em around to heat em up and crisp up the outsides.

For turkey leftovers, see Nigel Slater, even if he is a raging ghay.

CURRY!

the co-op, of all places do a jar ready curry sauce that is about the best I have found out of all of them, it's the 'extra special ( ?? ) khari suace, about £2 a jar..

3 cloves crushed garlic, 1/2 finely chopped onion & large wadge of olive oil in pan plus remnants of roast, plus chillies if you want, though it's reasonably thermal without.

cook gently just long enough to soften onions and warm meat..

Add contents of jar plus 1/4 jar of water to wash out jar, good stir in pan to mix for 5 mins.

Stick in oven in open topped caserole dish for about an hour, I do mine about 190C, stir every 15 mins.

It actually resembles something you might get from the indian!
