The Stag Pub aka 'Beeches Grill', Burnham Beeches, Slough

Just been out for a 'pub lunch' in the above named establishment, waited 40 mins to receive a tiny turkey burger accompanied by 5 chips and my colleague a chicken sandwich with similar no. of chips. This place used to be a traditional English pub with great food, it now resembles a Mayfair wine bar with stainless steel everything. Avoid.

I work in Burnham and went before xmas. Wish I had posted to warn others of my similar experience. By the way we waited 1hr!!

Hi, just found this post and wanted to say that I stopped in there just a couple of weeks ago and was really happy with the service and meal I received.

Whilst having a chat with one of the girls behind the bar, they said that they had a new chef in there, so maybe you visited during the old chefs reign?

Again, I was really happy and would definitely go there again.
