Type OO flour - where is it!
Discussion
I was also trying to make some shortbread as seen on Baking Made Easy, and an ingredient was rice flour. Could't find any so tried to make some in the liquidiser as recommended on the web. Fail. Too chunky. It didn't really matter as the shortbread did not work as the recipe said it would.

You may find it in with the 'posh ingredients' section, rather than the rest of the flour.
Correct, took me ages in Tesco to find it. Walking around, oh let's look in the flour section...... Not a chance, ok let's try the dried pasta section..... Erm no. For some random reason it court my eye hidden away in the special ingredients section, totally where it should not be.It is also vary rare in other supermarkets.

You really thought a liquidiser would be able to grind rice into flour? now that would be an amazing piece of kit!Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
