I find my Japanese knife is so sharp you don't know you have cut yourself until you realise you are adding an extra ingredient. It hurts more when its rough which is why paper cuts hurt so much.

Couldn't find it on their website. Any chance this was a special in-store clearance type deal?. Don't want to make a special trip only to find they don't have them or not at that price.

Never eat a salad in a restaurant that has had beetroot added.

I finally made it over to Sainsburys tonight, but the offer must have ended as they were back up to £38ish. I didn't really need a new knife set (I was more after a good bargain) so didn't bother buying them.

Thanks for the heads up though.

Better to have one good knive you use than 5 that you only use one.
