Or whether is better to go out and buy a new jar.

My wife has just found a monster jar of honey in the cupboard. It has separated, the lower 2/3rds has not completely crystalised but it is lighter in colour.

So...stir and mix
Just use the upper 1/3rd
Toss it

It is not a cost thing, my wife doesn't like throwing food.

Put the jar in a bowl of hot water so it heats up, then stir it. The crystals will dissolve. It's perfectly natural.
