Out for a curry! drink bottle of wine or pint of lager ?
Discussion
Hi there,
I have asked a few friends this and there seems to be a pretty equal split.
When you got out and have a spicy meal at a Indian/Chinese/Thai restuarant, what do you have to drink ?
Do you have a bottle of wine, if so what colour ? or do you opt for a pint of something like Cobra ?
I personally have wine, my local restuarant sells a wine thats specially blended to suit spicy food and its superb.
What do you drink ??
Regards
Tim

Depends on the company! Bunch of blokes is inevitably beer. Out with missus is inevitably wine.
Indian curry and wine don't really mix well. A Fitou or a peppery shiraz will go with a medium tomato based dish and maybe a viognier with something milder and creamy. If you like hot curries though, might as well drink the house red.
