No, but it looks freakin' awesome. I love ginger.

Looks as though I may have just bagged their last bottle. :hic:

Now that could well be worth a try.

I've also been meaning to make chilli vodka.

Bad memories too. When my best friend announced he was getting married, we went to the pub at opening time and started on the range of "Vodkas with stuff in" - each getting a round in of the worst stuff we could think of. Several hours of chilli and garlic vodka later.....

Anyway, the future King's Ginger is Prince Harry, surely ?

And is "appreciated by sporting gentlemen and high-spirited ladies ever since" code for something ?

Its quite nice. my Dad drinks it alot during the shooting season. He is currently trying to brew his own. Its in a large demi john with stem and fresh ginger soaking in whisky.

Definately going to give that a try.
Has he sweetened it with anything like honey or maple syrup?

This arrived today and is rather good.

I've used it to give a Moscow Mule extra kick, since it's quite - ahem - 'warming'.

Describe it to me.

It's ginger, presumably. But is it sweet? Bitter? Scotch-like?

its a sweet liqueur but pretty fiery. think cointreau minus the orange but with a huge ginger kick instead.

Its been sweetened with the syrup from the jars of stem ginger.
