Heston's Mission Impossible

I've had a quick search and can't see any threads here on the aforementioned programme. Did anyone see it? This weeks episode was him trying to improve the food on British Airways. Aside from the constant reference to the cabin crew as "trolly dollies" (a personal pet hate of mine) I thought it was quite an entertaining programme. I never thought the Gate Gourmet chef would get over himself enough to admit there was a problem with the taste of the food so fair play to him for eventually being convinced. But does anyone know if anything has actually come of Heston's (final) success or was it just a nice bit of publicity for BA and nothing has actually changed on the menus to follow Heston's recommendations?

I thought the GG chef was just saying that so they could run an experiment. It's pretty common knowledge that food tastes differently up in the air. In fact, I'm sure someone from GG told me that!

Interesting show though, but I haven't noticed BA bigging up the Heston connection.

I saw the Cineworld one a few weeks back. That smell and taste what you see in the film looked vile, if he did to Charlie And The Chocolate factory it would have been fine but not Perfume.

Sounds like a replay of the Little Chef venture. The LC bigwig wanted all the publicity but couldn't bear anyone better than him.

I've been really disappointed with the series. So far I can't see what he is trying to achieve or what the program is about, food, him, how to wind people up???

Yes series disappointing and formulaic but only just caught up with it.

It certainly raises some issues that the public need to be aware of.

Military catering budget less than prisoners. Absolute disgrace.
4.40 popcorn from ingredients <1 pence.
And in the light of recent revelations about the NHS more concern over welfare of the staff than patients.
