Halal restaurant in Birmingham
Discussion
I have visited quite a few halaal restaurants in Birmingham. To be honest, I have found food places in Birmingahm lacking considerably comapared to Manchester or London. However a couple of weeks ago I went to Akbars on Hagley Road.
Very good food, good place to take a client and it would probably be my choice of restaurant for a while when I visit. If going on a Friday or Saturday make sure you book as its very busy...
Also the place looks nicer than it does in the photos on their website.

IIRC this is the place that made the local news recently because one of the waiters texted a picture of his willy to a female customer that had inadvertently made a booking using her mobile phone. Surprisingly, neither love nor lust blossomed.I have no idea what the food is like, but if you ring for a booking with hold your number or use a land line. Unless, of course, you like that sort of thing.
