hi Guy's

Am spending a few days in London with my wife and kids next week-any recommendations for a good/family restaurant in Covent Garden area please?
Any other tips for eating in central London also appreciated?

Cheers

Try Bertorelli's right next to the opera house.

If you want something a little more informal without descending to Pizza Express level, try Carluccio's on Bedford Row

Wahaca isn't particularly Italian! smile (tis good though, but be prepared to queue for a little bit).

Jamies Italian is quite good. Decent food and prices.

Can't remember the name but I've been to one just round the corner of Covent Garden on Henrietta street, on the right as you walk away from CG. I had Spag Bol. Was very nice and not very dear at all smile

A sound plan with kids in tow.

I prefer upstairs to downstairs. Nice big airy room and you can get a booth as a family which is always nice.

How did you get on Steve? Can we have your reviews?

Covent Garden is a bit manic at the moment!
