I know it's been done to death but I'm feeling all smug and enthusiastic about the batch of white vari-seeded rolls presently steam-baking in mine (first time I've used the steam function).

If they taste like they smell.... lick

I have to admit that I've become a fan of bread makers now.
My wife was given one recently and has made all sorts with it, she also uses it for making dough for calzones and rolls.

Probably a silly question, but can they make a decent sized burger or hot dog bun? . . . . I find the ones I can get locally a tad lacking in the size department (can’t get a decent bun for a foot long dog anywhere!)

Mine wouldn't bake anything that size off but no reason why you couldn't make the dough in the machine and then form into whatever size you want and bake in a conventional oven.
