I had that on in the background. Have to say the Balalaika Greatest Hits CD they used throughout the entire production ground me down a bit.

It was fantastic. Very witty and light hearted insight into Italian culture via food 10/10

They should stick to cooking and quit with the acting. The scenes with the "pretty girl" were nauseating, and the fat one going to "sleep" whilst the casserole cooked, to be "woken up" in time to cook the polenta was just embarrassing.

Forget the "staged" stuff and it is entertaining. I love some of the dishes, and clearly they do too.

I swear I'd be the size of a house end if I spent any time with these guys.

Cannot help but smile when these two are together, such infectious personalities. Have not watched last week's instalment yet as we were away but have heard good reviews and I am sure there will be something that I will want to have an attempt at cooking. Strudel looked delish and ever so slightly moorish lick

Dear All,

another convert here.
I missed the first and only watched the second on a whim.

Spending a lot of time with Gennaro Contaldo must get a bit wearing though, could get a bit like Colin Hunt but in short bursts quite funny...
...oh, and the food nom x3,

regards,
Jet

Enjoyed the frog fishing biggrin
Seemed they ate the whole (gutted and skinned) frog rather than just the legs.
