Coffee. Grinder and Cafetiere or Pods in a machine
Discussion
We've been drinking Under Milk Wood from Darkwoods Coffee since we moved to Saddleworth a couple of months ago.

It's local to me, I'm planning on going to one of their open days in a few weeks time, I might even book a home barista course.

£24.10/kg is a bit of a bargain these days. I might give them a try. How do you get on with Miss Sylvia?
Rancillio is great, finding it second nature now to dial in new beans with the grinder and machines 'quirks'. IMS basket introduction was also a good move. Cracking little machine though, not quite on par with your rig, but I know you have soft spot for them.
Since getting my Sage Barista Express I have been using beans from local roasters around Glasgow - Fower, Dear Green & The Good Coffee Cartel.
This week I had ran out so picked up some Ueshima Coffee Company beans from the supermarket.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of coffee produced.

Hey folks
I have a £1000 budget for the best bean to cup coffee machine within my budget. It needs to do milk, too - the only drinks we have are black or white americano, cappuccino and/or flat whites. Any recommendations? I'm open to refurbed as long as they are nearly new too. It will do an average of about 6 to 8 coffees per day.
Any thoughts?

Can't fault the melitta barista. They do a smart one, which connects to your phone or a normal version. Both are really good. I don't know that I was in there. They both do milk and will do two drinks simultaneously.I have a £1000 budget for the best bean to cup coffee machine within my budget. I've gone back to Siemens after a dalliance with a Melitta TS. This is an excellent machine at a very good price (I have the non milk tank version for preference)

Go to coffeeworks. Contact Kevin by email, the site owner (I think?). He will give you discount codes for Sage machines which he earns a commission for selling.I have a £1000 budget for the best bean to cup coffee machine within my budget. Sorry I deleted his email recently but there were one or two which were half price.
Has anyone got any experience with the Kingrinder K6?
I'm thinking of investing in a decent hand grinder as my current AliExpress one takes around 2 mins to grind fine enough for an Aero press flat white replica. That gets quite tedious.
I'd want something that ideally grinds in under a minute if possible and will be okay if I decide to get an espresso machine in future
