Hi Guys,

A few years ago (Poss in last 8 years) I bought an album called "Scratch" it was a hip hop album which atually contain not profanities. I unfortunely left it at a friends house and he's left the country!

Does anyone have an idea of what it is actually called?

I did try amazon some time ago.

Cheers

Sunil

I can only think of the X-ecutioners and Mase's albums with scratch in the title and they both have swearing in.

Other than that I'm not sure. To be fair this is a bit of a needle in a haystack. Have you got an idea of the songs, content? Is it a compilation?

They must be radio edits because I think of a few of those with swearing in them. Diamond D - Best Kept Secret being one easily.

The compilation maybe. Most of them are from the late 80's early 90's.

ETA - They are some nice classic tracks on that compilation. Were they mixed together or just seperate tracks?

Hi Miguel,

I don't think they were mixed. I listened to the J-live tune on you tube. Such an awesome tune.

I'd have to youtube it. I can't remember which one that is. Its either the one that he's cutting up the sample or the one where the tempo of the track slows down and speeds up. My friend has seen him a couple of times and he apparently does the cutting up of the sample and rapping at the same time. I 'm ok on the decks but that requires some serious coordination/concentration to do that. J-Live is a very talented guy.
