Any fans? I really am quite taken aback by how good it is. I know to many folks it's simple electronic composition and so on, but it really is a stunning album in it's own right. I'm not normally a great fan of soundtracks save for the odd tracks and stuff, but this one has really caught my ear - regardless of what you thought of the movie (I loved it, and I'm a big fan of Daft Punk so perhaps some bias) it's well worth a try if you're looking for some instrumental electronic awesomeness.
It worked very well in the movie, but as an album in it's own right I think it's deserving of far more praise than it seems to have received.

Save to say 'The Son Of Flynn' is the first thing to knock 'Marimba' off my ringtone in some years hehe

Anywhoo, try it. smile

I agree and listen to it often. It's not up there with the likes of the Inception OST, but isn't far behind.

Brilliant soundtrack, give the remix album a look if you like this sort of thing.

I have it, and like it, but it doesn't blow me away. What does really impress me is this remix

What impressed me the most is the way that the soundtrack and the movie worked so well together. I saw it at an enormous screen with top sound system and it was just a truly immersive experience.
On a tv in the lounge I'm thinking it might get a bit lost?
I agree though, great soundtrack.

love it, some get tracks in there. My favorite is the rizo one.

Hanna's score was done by the chemical brothers and is pretty good too.

An instant classic and gets played in the car all the time at full tilt.

I thought it almost had some modern classical vibes to it so I sent it to my Vivaldi loving mother - she thinks it is wonderful!

I completely agree that this is such a nice soundtrack, and works brilliantly with the movie.

This features on my weekly playlists when I'm relaxing on a Sunday or in the car driving to work. It definitely deserves more praise than its got so far.

Yep, a great soundtrack, and one that has gained a place in my all time top soundtracks. All tracks are winners (try and get the double disc edition if possible, I had a spare sealed one I sold on Ebay for a fortune in January but they've come down in price since). Had been listening a lot to the soundtrack for a while before I saw the film. "The Grid" has a nice variation between the film and s/track if you hear the latter first

Also got the remix version but that's taking a while longer to grow on me. Moby's effort is the standout so far

I love it epic on the "big system" with some old castle winchester speakers!

I've not git this as yet, but I love Daft Punk. Discovery is my favourite album ever.

It has definitely grown on me. I think I was expecting more tracks like Derezzed but given more time the better it gets.
