Long shot - any country fans here - need a funeral choice
Discussion
My father passed away last week and I need a song for the middle of his service, trouble is whilst I was very close to Dad music is something we rarely talked about. I know he liked classical so will be sent off at the end to the theme from dambusters his favourite movie.
He also liked country & western but I know nothing apart from Hurt by Johnny Cash which is not really appropriate as he wouldn't want us playing anything too sad. So can any of you offer suggestions for something not too sad, reflecting the mood of a funeral and my dads life in a nice but still reflecting kind of way?

Johnny Cash's American VI - Aint No Grave features a lovely version of Aloha Oe

Translated from the Hawaiian, the chorus goes:
Farewell to thee, farewell to thee
The charming one who dwells in the shaded bowers
One fond embrace,
'Ere I depart
Until we meet again
Or perhaps if he was a fan of old, old country, there's the Carter Family doing Where We'll Never Grow Old
