Bands that you've seen countless times...

Reading the "first, last and next gigs", and seeing a couple of people having the same band for all three, made me think of the title. There's a few bands that I've seen loads of times, but I'm sure there are people who will beat me. Here's my top nomination.

The 80's Matchbox B-Line Disaster : seen about 17/18 times. Unless they get back together, it wont increase.

Years ago, I mentioned to a friend that they were playing again, as I knew that he had seen them before.

"I've seen them before, I don't need to see them again." I didn't understand that sentence at all. If I love a band, I want to see them everytime they play!

In 2007 I saw Muse twice in about 6 months, once at Wembley Arena and then at the newly opened Wembley stadium.

Then I saw them again at Wembley last year.

And on their next your I'll probably try to see them again!

Seen them each a minimum 10 times each, with the exception of Mamas Boys (c. 15 times).

The only bands I've had to see many times is:

CKY, who I adore and have seen about 10 times, alas they don't tour in the UK much. They played Download this weekend but I couldn't afford to go
Bowling for Soup, my husband and I have seen them about 5 times, and they are still brilliant to watch.

I'd like to see Annihilator more, but they're a Canadian band that don't tour much either
Would love to see some more gigs if I could, the bands I want to see just aren't here enough I'd love to see Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters and Greenday live one day too!

I lost count how many times we went to see "A" when they were about.

I've seen Therapy? on every tour since troublegum, must be 15-20 times in total i think. I kinda like them!

Only band I've seen quite a few times are Status Quo.
They've came to Aberdeen each year for many years, and haven't scheduled a date for this year.

Pearl Jam - lost count. Must be over 50. I used to live in the US (twice), so I was able to see them quite often.

Best gig; Jones Beach, Long Island.

MOH has a thing about seeing pet bands again and again. Goodness knows how many times he has seen Orbital an Underworld.

He introduced me to Lamb, seen about 6 times now.

I've not really seen any band a huge amount of times. The most would be SikTh - around 7/8 - and Ben Folds (Five) - 5 times.

I've roadied a lot for my friend's band across Europe, so I've heard them play 50+ times I reckon. And there's always something new and a bit different if you are paying as much attention as you do when you're watching for stuff going wrong...
