So you are at Glastonbury, a weekend of mayhem with a million things to see and do. What you doing today?

If you're anything like the muppets just interviewed on the news you'll be spending the entire day standing by the pyramid stage to get a good spot to watch Coldplay at 10 pm this evening.

Pathetic.

I'm sure there's some bands on the biggest stage before Coldplay...

Yeah, but some people hate all of the other bands and still do it. I went with a mate in 2000 and had to stand there all day to be near the front for David Bowie. We even watched the Pet Shop Boys, which oddly had the most violent moshpit I have ever been in.

This was 9.30 this morning. No bands until 1pm IIRC.

Plus the field is a mud bath.

I was listening to LBC (bear with me) on my jaunt down to Gatwick last night. The bloke on there pointed out something quite relevant.

All those images you see of "Glasto" eejits mucking about in the mud, swimming around, covering themselves in it?

Do they realise what that field is used for, for the rest of the year?

Cows.

Cows what st. Cows what st a lot.

Now wash your hands.

Yeah I was watching, wouldn't be for me either. Maybe their mate had buggered off to get the bacon.

Some people got the e-coli bug a few years back.

Perhaps they are suicidal and are just waiting for the right inspiration.
