Bought a record....

The new Blue Aeroplanes album was released recently but so far on vinyl only and so the first new record I have bought for about 15 years arrived today from Amazon in a very large box marked "heavy". I imagine that this is meant to guide the courier rather than a comment on the music. Anyway, I had forgotten what a nice thing a new record is, particularly with a gatefold sleeve. You can also read the lyrics when they are printed on the inner sleeve rather than trying to read the very small print in those silly little books that come with CDs that you can never get back in the case properly.
