Got an email tonight announcing that Dylan and Knopfler are doing 3 nights mid-November at the Hammy Odeon.

And I just got a ticket!

Cheers! Bloody ticketmaster "down for maintenance". Grr. frown

I saw Dylan at Shepherd's Bush a few years ago which was amazing - I think he tends to do a better gig when he can see the crowd.

Feck frown

Hopefully you'll get a ticket before they go on 'general' sale at 09:00 tomorrow

I went to the gig last night, and it was awesome. In ten years of watching Dylan I think that was one of the best shows I've seen him do. Very impressed with Mark Knopfler too, nice that he did a couple of Dire Straits numbers at the end.

He always seems to raise his game at the smaller venues, which is great. And some of the re-worked reworkings of songs are great. You'll have a great time. smile

There's a bootleg of last night already up on http://www.dimeadozen.org.

I saw them in Cardiff.

I did enjoy. Both of them were fantastic performers however Mark didn't join Bob on stage in Cardiff and Mark's set could have done with more Dire Straits.

We got "So Far Away" last night which my Dire Straits loving friend very much enjoyed.

Dave,

Can you recall what time Dylan finished last night?

It was a bit later than usual - I sent a text message to someone just as I got on the Picadilly Line at Hammersmith at 11:05, so I reckon it finished somewhere around 10:45.

-edit-

Probably worth saying he's not done encores at all on this tour, so you will almost certainly be safe to leave as soon as the last song's done.

Absolutely AWESOME

Knopfler was brilliant too. The song that he did with the turquoise Les Paul was just jaw-dropping smile
