Intricate/difficult but nice guitar songs?

What are some intricate and difficult guitar songs that are not just having a wk on the guitar? I like all types of music, so don't really care what genre it is. Currently I'm trying to learn The Trooper but err... fking solid!

It's responsible for me giving up learning to play the guitar a long time ago. My teacher at the time thought it was easy peasy, and used to do that as warm up. I got fed up in the end, but i may come back and try to learn the guitar again sometime

This guy makes a pretty poor attempt at it, but Maxine by Fagen is one of the finest bits of writing I've ever heard. Works well on guitar, but is a bh to play. (It's out there in TAB)

my personal fave is Hand on Heart which is playable even for an "average" player.

If you want a virtuoso classic that is not "that" difficult to play try Cryin' by Joe Satriani...its about phrasing as opposed to twiddling!
