Hoping someone here may be able to help!

I have a Roland TD-6V electronic drum kit, hardly used that I want to swap for a proper drum kit.

It's a fantastic bit of kit for practise and recording I'm sure, but it just isn't fun to have a bash on!

I would really like to just swap it for a half decent acoustic kit so I will actually get some use out of it.

Does anyone have any idea where I may be able to advertise such and offer for a swap? The drum forums I've found from google all seem to be based in the US!

Speak to mates, we managed to get an half decent acoustic drum kit for £75, with three toms. Somebody might want to trade - you never know.

Failing that, try your local music store. Mine does trade-ins, I've got some cracking deals out of it, although admittedly I haven't tried to get any drum stuff.

None of my friends are musicians/drummers so that's a no go.

I did think of local shops but assumed much like a car part ex, they would offer bottom dollar!

www.drumclassifieds.co.uk which is part of www.mikedolbear.com is your best bet by far. You'll get your hand snatched off I'll bet! smile

Thanks for the replies guys, I am in discussion with a lady who would like the kit for her son.

If that falls through, I will try the other options.

Cheers!

I have agreed a price of £400 for it, I will know for sure next week whether they come to collect though.

I will post back and let you know if it sells.

Sorry, it's been sold!

I ended up selling it to my uncle as my younger cousin wanted to lern to play the drums.. £400 seemed like a fair price considering the hassle and costs of Ebay etc.

Unfortunately, I now need a new TV so looks like the money will be going elsewhere too!
