I'm not sure on the Merc as I don't have the details at hand, around April/May 1989...

The Peugeot 205, 22/11/90; The Righteous Brothers "Unchained Melody"
Happy with that but if it was three days later it would have been 'Ice ice baby'. *Shudder*

I'm not sure what was in the charts at the time in 1994. Mind you, my car was first registered in Japan so it would be more appropriate to post the Japanese #1 of the time. Not that I can be arsed to look it up, mind!

26/08/1976 - Don't Go Breaking my Heart, Elton John & Kiki Dee (Dolomite Sprint)

2/12/1977 - Mull of Kintyre, Wings (Dolomite 1850)

16/02/2004 - With a Little Help from My Friends, Sam & Mark (frown) (Rover 75)

Those are pretty st TBH.

As mine would have been, had it been in the UK.

However, in France it was "Une femme avec une femme", which apparently - you'd never guess - is an ode to lesbianism, by Spanish Eurovision-reject popsters 'Mecano'.

I can't decide whether that's an improvement or not.

The tide is high by blondie thumbup

Not their greatest ill admit but one week later it could've been super trouper by abba, not that it would've made much difference to me 31 years later smile
