You may have come across Tim Pope's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Pope work already during your college course(s). Imho, much his work with The Cure was innovative and more intelligent than most.

Ta for that, I'm actually doing music tech but they're making us analyse music videos so that we can work on our own at some point, so nope, not heard of Tim Pope.

Those videos are interesting though, ta very much. I may use them.
