Classic rock outfit Status Quo have announced that they will return with their original line-up for a new album and tour next year. What's more is, it'll be written, recorded and performed by Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster, and John Coghlan – the original Status Quo line-up that rocked out many years ago

Fantastic news, but
Not a bad thing, or particularly cynical. Cream's Albert Hall shows were done partly to fund Jack Bruce's medical care after all.

Pension top up for the boys ? Not a bad thing, or particularly cynical. Cream's Albert Hall shows were done partly to fund Jack Bruce's medical care after all.
I count 5 original members - Roy Lynes, far left who appeared with them on Top Of The Pops in '68 on a Vox Continental organ. Didn't he get off a train at Nottingham Station or somewhere saying he was going for a packet of fags and never returned.... ???

Wasn't the first Line up Cain, Able, Adam, Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt
I saw Wishbone Ash last night, original lineup of them would be awesome, but somehow can't see that happening, there would have to be some serious hatchet burying.
