1977-83 Punk/New Wave-type Stuff

I host an Internet radio show on Monday evenings at 7pm UK time on www.radio-happy.com. On Monday, (ie 4 June) I'm doing a special one off nostalgia programme for the bank holiday, with 40 tracks celebrating the best of punk/new wave and synth based pop/rock between 1977-1983 including many classics, the odd 12" mix and some rare live performances, including an unreleased track by OMD.

If you'd like to listen in, an auto dj plays from 6pm to allow people to log on (we're not on 24 hours a day just yet) - no registration required, just come to the site and load up the stream - on the right of the page you will see little icons for different media players...Winamp, windows media player, real player etc...hit any of those and you should be able to download the stream and listen in.

Ok, the show is available for download - thankfully free of the streaming issues we had on the night. Its split across 3 files and forms a nice little 3 track album in your player...albeit one that lasts for 2 hours and 40 minutes... (click on each url, then hit the small blue button to download the file):-

Can you tell me where you got track by Shock, is it from an album?

Meant to say, some of my other shows are streaming at http://www.mixcloud.com/philmarsh733/. Slightly wider variety of things on there but a lot is from that era (or new bands influenced by it).
