I'm going to see the Stone Roses at Heato Park the following Friday too. I will be seeing the Vaccines and Primal Scream twice in the same week! smile

Pearl Jam, the Charlatans, Primal Scream and Feeder are top of my list.

Hipshaker lounge is also a must for me this year. Had great fun in there last year! smile

If you have a choice of vehicle 4x4 seems to make sense.

Seemingly a bit muddy

How's it going? The media are painting a bit of a bleak picture.

All I can say is I'm glad I was able to walk to work this morning and just watch the traffic sitting there out of my window.

Local businesses are making a lot of noise about suing the organisers, and rightly so.

If anyone's going and needs a free place to park a car right near the red funnel ferry terminal in Southampton, give me a PM. I live a stones tthrow from the terminal and have a free allocated parking spot.

It’s a total fk-up of the highest order.
The festival organisers chose not to spend the money on putting proper roads into the car parks, causing them to be un-useable within 2 hours!
Cars are being towed/dragged on site so fk knows how they’ll get out again on Monday.
Ferries were stuck in the Solent through the night for up to 4-5 hours as there’s nowhere to get the cars off.
Roads are gridlocked, and have been since yesterday morning.
Lorry’s carrying road chippings have had a police escort to get them to the fields and back.
Main stage had sinking problems whilst being put up last week.
Big top evacuated last night due to high winds and full of mud.
They are getting roasted on their facebook page, unsurprisingly.

It's fking hilarious. They have about 7 4x4s trying to drag over 600 cars into the field. Even with a police escort, it ain't working very well.

Not just the car parks, all main roads around Donnington and the surrounding areas, I had the joy of working in Donnington Friday and Monday while that festival took place. They should be ashamed of themselves how they organised traffic around the village/track.

Hopefully the council will look into this for future events there.
