Just got home after seeing the wonderful SIr Tom Jones @ KIngsholm, Gloucester. What can I say apart from the fact that the man is a legend.

Thank you Sir Tom Jones.

You, Sir, are a genius & a superb artist.

All aspiring so called 'superstars' should watch this man, learn & follow in his footsteps.

Class is not obtained from TV Shows. Class is gained by hard work & hard graft.

Class is called Sir Tom Jones.

A true legend.

Just been watching/listening to the Live at Cardiff Castle DVD.

Only through my Mac/Cinema Display (so non-audiophile source) but through a Quad amp and Dynaudio speakers. Really really excellent DVD, recommended especially if you have a half decent sound system. Will keep an eye out for when he's on tour next. Now I must find more good concert DVD's.

First saw him at the MGM in Las Vegas in 1998 before he was cool again. I was moved to tears by the power, soul and emotion of that God-given one-in-a-billion voice (he was singing "Walking in Memphis"). Was lucky enough to see him do the entire Praise and Blame album at the Union Chapel in Islington. One of the indisputable greats, legends, and whatever else you want to call him.
