Just finished reading 'This is a Call' biography. Dave just loves Reading so I'd say this could be a concert of the epic variety

Depends where in Reading,

Anywhere near Caversham, or Cow Lane bridges, Allow an extra 20 mins, As for the rest of the town, it was flowing pretty well fri/sat. maybe an extra 5 mins to get from one side to the other.

Can't wait for the Foos tonight but be warned, if you're watching it on BBC3 like me it'll go off for an hour as they have to show Family Guy and that st new comedy by Jack Whitehall from 10.

Watching the Foos on bbc3 and loving it

I'm home, showered & KFC'd up!

Music was awesome, all the bands I got to were outstanding! Especially Foo Fighters, top top top!

Overall, place was like a kiddies summer camp, the average age can't have been more than 18/19, I felt so bloody old. Was very glad to have paid for Glamping cos the main campsites were a pigsty. Toilets feckin awful and the food only just edible, booze extortionate.....

However, my 9years training in Her Majesties Drinking Club paid off, had a blast with my old buddie, mocked the kiddies and exercised my sarcastic wit to it's fullest.

I'll have to watch the Foo Fighters set, it's going to be their last for a very long time according to Dave Grohl. Personally I think they have another album in them, then they will call it quits. They were great at Milton Keynes last year.

I was working at the Cambridge Folk Festival earlier this Summer, not a flying bottle of p155 in sight and the crowd were my age or older. I even liked some of the music. I didn't work at Reading this time but I can't say that I was sorry to miss it.

I would have been over 100ft in the air when the Foos were on, manning the camera on the hoist. Thing is it's directly over the dance tent so I would have seen the Foos but only heard OOOOMPHH, OOOOMPHH, OOOOMPHH, OOOOMPHH, MAKE SUMMMM NOISSSSSEEEEE!!!!

Nice, that would have been me. It's OK during the day and you get to zoom in to some fun stuff around the site but at night time it's lonely, dark, cold and boring. I normally get booked as there are only a few of us brave (stupid) enough to do it.
