Rick does a lot for a charity called Sparks and yesterday I played once more in his golf day in Surrey
In the evening he does a show and yesterday he was joined by son Adam who was back from Black Sabbath duties for a fleeting time (we were told) and they played an hour and a half show to about 150 of us. Clearly such a lot of mutual affection and pride between the pair of them.
I feel particularly lucky to have had the opportunity to be there. Rick may well be the slightly scruffy and seemingly disheveled chap you see now from time to time on the telly, but behind his keyboards he remains totally captivating!
