Dubstep remakes of classics
Discussion
The nature of dubstep seems to be that its quite underground or maybe im not as well informed as i would like to be
Anyone got any track names that i should be looking for?
an example - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8MIJbcsAMI - Cragga - Please Mr Postman (Dubstep Remix)

Not a remake as such but a classical style Symphony 666 by Tomba http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x89xYsd3VBY

Another one not so much a remake but in a classic style http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvZnTtf-Qbs
The haters should just be grateful nobody is asking about hardcore.
Also if you want to appear on the cutting edge of the scene head on over to house-mixes.com and search for 'dirty with a touch of class', he does very good dubstep/electro mixes. ego-thieves.com is another good place to get free mixes. Both site produce free mixes, so you're not stealing peoples work.

This is my favourite remix at the moment - strangely hypnotic video too:

That completely insulted the Beatles and the Carpenters! I don't know why this post even exists, remember that Pistonheads is for people who understand which way round a hat is worn.
Strictly speaking Pistonheads is for people who appreciate cars and bikes, no musical preference has veto or superiority over another. Hope U got that?MG Zack said:
Actually, I was told upon entry that Pistonheads is not for 'folk who wear their headwear backwards'. Well, if you listen to dubstep I can't see how else you might wear your hats. Also, as this is the music section, cars and bikes aren't at all relevant and I can say what I like about music, in this case that dubstep has cocked up a great Beatles song. Lastly, for God's sake don't address me as 'U'. I think 'you' would make you much more pleasant to speak to and on the whole much more tolerable.
One other requisite of Piston Heads is that you respect other peoples opinions and accept that they won't always line up with your own. One would question your motivation of posting in a thread, the subject matter of which is based on a topic that does not interest you.Thank you to everyone else who has contributed.. one of my favourites at the moment - Knife Party - Bonfire (very apt at the moment!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-IWRmpefzE
The b
ds have even remixed Darude's Sandstorm into a dubstep mashup, and you cant tell until the first chorus which version is which. Sooo many epic letdowns in clubs where the beat starts going spazzo and youre all ready to jump up and down, then suddenly it changes into slow, crap hoover/dialup internet/nails on blackboard noises

Admittedly the drop is a let down if the DJ has misjudged the crowds mood and expectation - although if you are in a dubstep room / dubstep themed club this shouldnt be a total shock.
The track is ok, not nearly as experimental as i would have liked though. Bit 'safe' and commercial for my liking.
