A Drum & Bass type thing...

I've been working on. I decided halfway through that it was far too nice sounding and needed to turn evil. I'm just interested to know what anyone thinks - If it could still be heading in a worthwhile direction etc. It's all very rough at the minute.

Liked the first bit more.

The beginning and ending of the track seem very disjointed, not really made for each other imho.

Had a relatively old (early 2000's feel to it).

I thought somebody would probably say that. It's a valid point, but I get bored if something carries the same mood all the way through. Light and shade, maaaaan, light and shade... In extremes. That's what I'm going for anyway. I might be able to smooth it out a bit better - I'm not a massive fan of the bass sound at the minute anyway.

Okay, just played it again to the others (I live in a house of dj's), they have a different opinion;

Both liked it - especially the switch up at the end and wanted that to go somewhere rather than stop.

Piano was a little too formulaic (timing etc)

So yeah, mainly favourable!

Ahhhh cool.

There's a reason for the predicability of the piano - It leaves space for something else that I haven't gotten around to yet
