earbuds - any recommendations?

Ideally in the £20-£40 bracket, something with a decent sound that won't fall apart. So far it seems to be between these and these.

I have a Sennheiser earbuds and microphone set up that plugs into my Blackberry, and on which I listen to music all day every day when working. Can't remember the model, they cost £50 from Amazon. If I lost them tomorrow I would buy the same make and model again.

I used to have Sennheiser MX300 Mrk2's and loved them but ended up losing them somewhere. Nowadays it's too hard to find a genuine pair (lots and lots of fakes around) and the build quality is rumoured to have plummeted.

I bought some Skullcandy Titan's (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Skullcandy-TITAN-Earbuds-Black-Chrome/dp/B003GRJ25I/ref=sr_1_sc_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1353755318&sr=8-2-spell) and whilst they aren't amazing - lack a little top end - for the price, they are brilliant. A nice snug fit which whilst not sound cancelling does a good job, decent bass kick and overall sound.

Very impressed with them and have been using them ever since.

That said YMMV, it makes so much difference just to find a set that fits perfectly and never slips out - perhaps I'm just lucky with the Klipsch and my ears.

I have a pair of JVC Xtreme Xplosives. They strike a happy balance between "decent sound quality" and "avoiding wailing and gnashing of teeth should I leave them in a hotel room".

The wire isn't particularly prone to tangling, which is nice.
