Saw them Saturday night in Newark...

Incredible show. Breathtaking even. Just curious if anyone saw them in London. Must have been the 35th or so time I have seen them and it's amazing the energy that they still have.

Not since the mid '80s.

Out of interest how much were the tickets, they were ridiculously expensive for the London shows. frown

Blimey - I didn't know there was a venue big enough for the Stones in Newark!

I'm guessing you don't mean the one in Notts, Englandwink

Not seen them since '63 or '64. My cousin saw them in London a few weeks back.

Yes, I saw them at the O2, and they were still great. Last saw them in Madison Square Garden, for a first date with the lady who is now Mrs NB. That was great too.

From about $100-1,500 depending on where. I think ours were $250 each. Luckily the girlfriend got them from someone she knows who is a ticket broker, apparently 3 hours before show time is a good time to buy them hehe

I saw them in early 80s & early 90s. But £300+ a ticket this time was way too much (I wouldnt have paid that for them to play in my front room!)

This smile

I saw a few clips on TV and everyone was "Oooh, they've still got it", but they didn't look a patch on the energy I saw 25 years ago, so I'm pretty happy not to have paid £100+ to see them this time 'round.

If they show a concert on free TV, I'll probably watch it.
