I guess most of us had to shelve our Sunday plans today due to the surprise release of a new My Bloody Valentine album ( no? then why not, guess you all just missed out the first time then), first since Loveless in 1991. And its almost worth the wait maybe because we had given up of a) them either releasing anything ever again or b) if they did it would be rubbish. I am glad to be proven wrong on both counts and cannot recall being lost in an album like this since maybe 1991.

I'm going to need a few more listens TBH, it doesn't quite grab me...then again I was the same with Loveless so maybe that's just me and MBV!

Yes.

tip, dont listen to the last 2 tracks while driving, I just went around a roundabout 5 times, just could not find a way out. An equal to Loveless for sure but without the just waiting for "soon" to come around factor. Cannot wait to get the vinyl out on Feb 22nd.

While the "Glider" EP prepared us for Loveless, Loveless has prepared us for this.
