Any fans on here?

Thought the first album was good, the second was exceptional and have been counting down the days to this new one. Only had chance to listen to the first two thirds so far but liking it a lot.

I saw them in Cardiff students union a few years ago and they were a great live band. The sound was clear and the frontman spent a couple of songs walking around the crowd whilst singing and playing guitar. Doubt he'd get away with it now as his fame would see him stampeded, but there's something genuinely rock and roll and interesting about them which I can't find in many other British bands.

Not heard their most recent album, but the second album is excellent, especially Spanish Sahara.

I saw them on the second stage at Leeds a couple of years ago. He spent half the songs climbing the framework of the tent. Everyone was loving it, but the construction H&S geek inside me was terrified he would fall. You know you are old when you start worrying about H&S at gigs....

Me too. Well the first album I wasn't hugely fussed about but the second really made me take notice.

I remember a big hype when they first emerged that I thought wouldn't last but they've got better and better.

Really great band, loved them from the first single and could tell they were a bit special, very clever musicians and invented a new guitar sound now copied by the likes of Two Door Cinema Club
Watched them a couple of times, always good....can't wait to get my hands on the new record

Reckon Foals did a fair bit of listening to Battles in their early days (hence the guitar sound etc)...

I reckon they're pretty good. They don't grab me by the balls or anything. Usually it's the drummer that does something to make my ears prick up.

But yeah, they're alright.

Really like some of their stuff. Other songs are mediocre.

Been a fan since the first album but I've never got round to seeing them live. I'll be trying to get tickets when they're next local though.

Total Life Forever is a quality album, especially Blue Blood. Love it when the beat kicks in at the start!

Hoping to get their new album at the weekend - if HMV is still about that is!

Foals are a great band & they are getting better with each album. Total Life Forever was very good but Holy Fire really puts them in the big league.

Not sure if anyone caught them live on the red button this week ? They were immense !

Awesome band, saw them in a working men's club in Sheffield a couple of months ago, astonishing gig. Second best gig of last year.
