just watching this recorded from last night. Dunno if its a repeat but its very good. Mark Lawson just gives people time to talk and lord knows Knopfler needs it! He is calm, dry and straight talking. But v interesting. Fab footage from an Arena doc with Dire Straits recording Making Movies c1980 !

Had the pleasure of seeing Mark play a private gig at the opening of a new restaurant in the early 90s. Sneeked in through the kitchens - lucky boy !

really good doc and he played with an opld mate in a hotel bar in robin hoods bay of all places!
