Pat Smear in the Foos.

I'd like that gig.

Heh, that was in my mind as well, but I thought "who's going to remember them!".

Whoever is playing bass for Albert Lee, Redd Volkaert, Bill Kirchen, Jerry Donahue or Vince Gill.

I think I would just about kill to get a run with any of those guys.

Unfortunately no longer an option but punt Gerry McEvoy to have a run with Rory would be right up there too.

Another shout for Bjorn from Abba, or Matt Johnson from Jamiroquai.

BIG gigs and fab musicians.

I would have loved to be Clem Burke, the drummer with Blondie, an absolutely brilliant drummer.

To be the drummer in that band, those songs and that singercloud9

Clem Burke's story is fascinating. Real rock & roll stuff. Everyone connected with Blondie essentially spent most of their time reigning him in but he was instrumental in keeping them going too. Personally, I would like to have been Debbie Harry's knicker consultant.

Malcolm Young. Then I could stand in front of a bank of Marshall's and watch Angus do his thing from the best view in the house!

Ironically, in his prime, Mr Pop would have been an insurance man's nightmare.

confusing one this...do you elbow a band member out so you could see your hero - the malcolm young idea, or kick steve harris out of maiden, cos you want to be the guy...

not an easy one this.......
