I usually order my strings online, in packs as 7 string sets aren't stocked in many guitar shops, let alone a choice between different 7 string sets. I really cannot change one string at a time, though I can't remember the last time I broke a string, it's probably been 8 or 9 years. If I've got one string that looks to be dying faster than the rest, all of them are coming off and fresh ones going on.
