Been a while since I listened to Goldfrapp until the other day and realised just how much I like the music. So relaxing most of it.
Anyway, had all of their albums, or so I thought and so got myself their latest album head first.
Anyone else on here like them.... Any particular favourites on their newest album?

Love Goldfrapp. Have all the albums on my iPod and they regularly help me through my days at work. They're are all so different that it's hard to have a favourite, though Supernature is probably the most appealing to me as a synth lover. Koko is my favourite of all the tracks - Just love the heavy, nasty synth lines in it. Also love the 'James Bond theme' sound that few of the tracks across at least two albums have. Have had a couple of exhanges with Alison Goldfrapp on Twitter too - geeky talk about synths!
Although I've got all the albums, Black Cherry and Supernature are the only ones I listen to with any regularity. The synth sound on these albums is awesome and coupled with the vocals of Alison Goldfrapp makes these really standout.
Favourite track for me is Koko, almost has that classic early Gary Numan sound closely followed by Hairy Trees and Strict Machine.
Saw them in Southampton Guildhall on the Supernature tour, absolutely fantastic live band and they had a real power and clarity that normally gets lost there. Brilliant voice and stage presence as well, would highly recommend seeing them.

Felt Mountain, Black Cherry and Supernature, got all 3, love them all. Got nothing since, tried the next one, didn't like it, lost interest. May have to give them another try. Saw them live at Leeds Uni, stunning vocals and some great electro sounds. Felt Mountain while I work and relax, Black Cherry and Supernature while I drive.
Didn't realise how old she was! Always thought she wasn't in any way 'average' but it has come as a shock to see she likes the ladies too! Not a problem, her choice, just a surprise.

But she wouldn't because she wears comfortable shoes.
I believe that her comfortable shoe-wearing is periodic (no pun intended) rather than permanent? I recall an interview where she said something along the lines of "when I'm single, I fall in love with people. Sometimes they're men, sometimes they're women" - something like that!Gassing Station | Music | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
