Was hoping to do the Bowie V&A exhibition. Anyone been, going or know anything about it?
I am kicking my self now as all tickets on line are sold out. I have a long way to go on the off chance of some on the day.

I didn't know it was a ticket event, i was planning to go and have a look. I assumed it was going to be like the Annie Lennox exhibition where you could just turn up and have a look. frown

Got tickets for the family about 3 or 4 weeks ago and going 4 Aug , only a couple of Sundays in July/August availability left then.

Really looking forward to it.

Been twice already and am going again on Friday. As I shall go a few times more I bought a V&A membership plus guest for £79 which gives me unlimited access (no booking required) to all V&A exhibitons for a year (Medieval court statues anyone?).
It is fantastic if you've ever been a Bowie fan but still hugely interesting from the social history, fashion, media evolution of music etc viewpoints.
Watch out for all the 50-somethings singing along in their headphone isolation in the big screen room (4 synchronised live versions of Heroes playing simultaneously - heaven!)
