Yes. My dad bought them years ago, had a stroke doesn't play anymore, never played them in the first place mind.
Potential appreciating classics. Difficult for you an owner to get the full value for them. Selling them to a dealer will never get you the best price, as the dealer will only give you a minimum, so he can make maximum profit on the mark up when he sells it on. Selling it somewhere like eBay will get you closer to what the guitar is actually worth to a buyer, but then you lose a chunk in eBay fees.
Advertising on Gumtree would probably just get loads of piss takers, and advertising on a guitar forum would likely not see enough footfall to the pages to really attract a collector.
Personally, I'd sell one and reinvest some of the money in another Ibanez - a Prestige model of course, for daily use (assuming you play guitar), and bank the rest. Then I'd hold onto the other JS10 as it will likely appreciate in coming years.
I can understand your dad not wanting to play them prior to his stroke, mint condition obviously means that these things hold onto their value, and tarnishing the metals could see a fair drop in value. That said, Satch used a Chromeboy as his main stage guitar for a few years, and it always looked shiny and nice. As a bit of trivia, when Ibanez first made the Chromeboy they experimented with various methods to get the chrome to bond to the body of the guitar smoothly and without flaws. The one Satch used as his stage guitar actually had a large imperfection on the body around the pickup area, but he thought it sounded and played the best despite the imperfect looks, hence it becoming his main guitar for a long time.
You can see the imperfection in this picture here, it looks like the guitar has a clear plastic pickguard:
