One favourite song

Pretty simple really:
If you were allowed to say add one song to a library or on a desert island with you which one, which recording and why.
Despite being a bit of a rocker at heart and loving some soul electro and lots of stuff, mine is
"Wichita Lineman" by Glen Campbell - simply superb and just succeeds so well on so many levels

Difficult one but I think I'd go for Northern Skies by Nick Drake.
Harder than you think isn't it,and it's sometimes hard to be honest with yourself, amusingly though after I decided it was Wichita I had an I tunes update blah blah but I then noticed that in the times played Wichita was way ahead of anything else.Blowers Daughter - Damian Rice

Haunting - still gives me goosebumps. First saw him on one of Jools Hollands show's many moons ago. Never quite made it mainstream.

Wichita Lineman.
Excellent choice.Mine would be "You Only Live Twice" from the film of the same name.
Indeed.
Check this out for a storming performance. People forget the Glenn Campbell was a very successful session musician before becoming a star in his own right.
