How often do you have a 'music night'?

You know - you start listening to something and it leads you to something else, then you have to find another certain track - this makes you dig out the solo album by the guitarist, and he played in another band which was a bit folky, so you end up listening to some folky stuff etc...

You started nine hours ago after dinner and now the sun is coming up and you've demolished four bottles of wine but have a lovely rosy glow knowing it was a night well spent.

I love music nights. Just me and a musical world full of love, sadness, power, darkness, subtlety, talent, ROCK, groove, tone, soul and pure bliss.

Regularly hook up with an old pal of mine and work our way through Zeppelin's albums. Much wine and putting the world to rights whilst worshipping at the alter of Page & Plant. Good times.

Used to do this online a lot, we'd meet in an IRC room at an agreed time and each put on the same albums at the same time, then chat about the music as they played.

Quite nerdy I know but it was fun, had people from all over join in.

Not often enough. One song does tend to lead to another however, and whole evenings can be swallowed chasing one awesome song to the next.

I do this most times I see my Dad - usually involves some Macallan and possibly a carry out as well!

As said earlier, not often enough. But when i do get round to it, they are good nights

I can be terrible at this with YT and hip hop/dance music. Search for the samples, hear sample, listen to tune as a whole, listen to other songs from sampled artist and so forth. You say to yourself one more tune won't be any harm and before you know it the sun is up.

Often. Usually have Death.FM and then a good song will come on then I'll YT the artist.....

Usually ends up with going on The Pirate Bay
