What cheap effects pedal
Discussion
OK, I've got about £70 to spend on a pedal(s) to tide me over until I can find my Digitech RP6. Mainly blues rock type stuff. Guitar is a Squier strat with a HSH setup I built - it has a really sharp bridge pickup.
Any ideas? To be honest, I'm tempted by a cheap boss multi-effects thing. but I've seen some joyo (??) pedals at about a tenner each and might make a cheap board if they're not horrendous. Amp is a fender Bass amp or a wee fender practice thing. I like odd mix n' match sounds - anyone can plug a Les Paul into a Marshall Half-stack!

In the words of Gorgeous George: "Ooh you b
d!" That's me £95 lighter
Seriously though, thanks. Lovely Vox Tonelab on its way.
Man Maths at its best.
Need a pedal short term, there must be a Boss 505 for 30 quid somewhere.
Ooh, there's a better looking multi-pedal for £50!
Postage is £20, well I guess £70 isn't bad.
Outbid. PH help me!
Ooh, a Vox! Well 90 isn't that much more than 70, and a fiver postage is basically a bargain compared to the last one...

At a tenner a pop. they will be awful.
Au contraire! The 'Ultimate Drive' that I have is near-as-makes-no-difference a perfect replica of my mate's OCD v4, and the 'Vintage Drive' is known to be a very pleasant sounding TS808 clone. They're not exactly rugged and I have no clue about their other stuff, but the tone would be impressive at ten times the price.Big News said:
