Just discovered a new band (rock)

You may already know about them, but how about Clutch? They're by no means a new band, but hardly anyone I know had heard of them until I mentioned them.
The new album, 'Earth Rocker' is a decent listen, very 'Clutchy'.

Ok I'll roll out my stock answers....Airbourne, The Answer, The Union, Rival Sons, The Temperence Movement. All quality bands that deserve to do well (some already are) with real classic rock feel.

It's funny what you sometimes find band-wise....even if you think you have your finger on the pulse of your own music genre - there's always bands that pass you by!

One I may suggest back for you - a band that, on further investigation seems to have been going for like ages - but that I only found out about from a track played on 'Teamrock' radio on DAB a couple of months ago.

Nightwish. They're a rock / 'classical orchestraic' fusion kinda thing - a bit like Evanescence, but with an even greater range and depth of sound and staging.

Think rock guitars and complex drumming (with double-bass excitement...) combined with beautifully arranged classical orchestras, and a fabulous female lead singer, who is classically trained but also segueing towards traditional rock arrangements.

I have been loving them to bits for the last couple of months.
