Ever hear something so bad that you wonder if they're taking the piss just to see if anyone actually buys it?

Kanye West; Later Live, just now. Am I not in on the joke?

most twiddly Jazz. I've said it before - Pointless showing off

It just does not compute how anybody can like the tuneless drivel. I may not like many forms of music, but I understand how it appeals to others. I can tolerate other music, but twiddly Jazz just downright annoys (its almost like a panic attach, I have an all encompassing urge to get away from it, it gives me a 'flight response'). I've walked out of several places when I have encountered it as background music.

hehe

The fact that you spout such narrow minded nonsense about a genre of music that you clearly don't like and then roll your eyes at me made me chuckle.

Confused - where is he dissing a genre - only one artist was mentioned.

I think we can safely assume the 'talking over talented musicians' comment pretty much sums up the posters opinion to rap/hip hop as a whole.

There are a number of artists who could be accused of doing exactly that but I don't see that Kanye could be classed as one of them personally.

It was absolute rollox. How does he have the audacity to strut whilst performing that bilge.

Yes... Pitbull ft. Christina Aquilera - Feel This Moment.

Absolutely fking awful. Seriously one of the worst songs I've ever heard.

Hollly fk it reached #5 here and #1 in the 'dance' charts.

Totally agree. I'd crawl over broken glass and say "No, thank you" to Kirsten Dunst just to get away from it.

Actually I was commenting on the whole genre smile

That paricular performance was especially aweful......
I guess my version of musician includes being able to sing or maybe playing an instrument ?

I can talk over talented musicians and producers, but it doesn't make me a talent, sadly other wise I'd own
a Lambo, a mansion with a blue covered pool table and some large carat jewellery. cool

I don't get why you're giving singing a free pass here? I mean, its just the same thing but varying the pitch a bit. Do you hate poetry too? I'll grant you that there are a lot of mainstream rappers with either dreadful bars or just talking about the same old thing, but there's nothing wrong with it as a genre.

Incidentally, the talented producer Kanye West is usually talking over is... Kanye West.

Anyway, back on topic - the irritatingly knowingly-badness of that The Fox song. I can handle terrible stuff that becomes famous because its amusingly bad, but if you try and make something like that deliberately it's pretty much guaranteed to be just plain bad. Yet it still seems to be showing up in places.

Well, the worst I have heard is Andrew Eldritch's SSV album "Go Figure", but I'm not sure that counts. Noone was wondering if it was intentionally bad because they said as much when they delivered it. Actually, I can't say for sure that it was the worst album I have ever heard. I stopped after a few songs because, well, it really was awful biggrin . The rest would have had to be solid gold to lift it off the bottom, chances are slim that it was though!

I have also often wondered about Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Dire Straits' Twisting By The Pool too, not as being intentionally bad but being intentional parodies.
