Motorhead Touring

I saw them a few years ago and didn't rate the show as anything special but I'm not the biggest motorhead fan though. Some songs are very good, the majority are the same.
I just went along to as it won't be very long until they don't tour so as has been said, see them while you can.
Saxon and Skew Siskin are supporting, I'd go just to see Saxon.

Their songs just blend into one for me.Saxon on the other hand, I saw them supporting Judas Priest, and they were every bit as good. The most surprisingly great show I've ever seen!
I remember seeing them 33 years ago at the Southampton Gaumont as it was then!
It may well have been the first gig I'd been to and worth the three days of being hard of hearing!
Of course that was back then.
I think Tank were supporting and were ceremoniously booed off stage. I never understood why support acts were treated like this. It almost seemed like a rite of passage.

I have to sadly let you know that Motörhead has had to postpone the forthcoming European tour until early next year, 2014.
We have made the decision because I am not quite ready to hit the road yet, and am working my way back to full fitness and rude health. Don't worry - I'm not about to start promoting veganism and alcohol-free beverages, but it is fair to say that I personally have been reconfiguring areas of my life to make sure I can come back fitter and stronger than ever.
It disappointed me tremendously to have to say I wasn't quite ready to hit the road yet, but not nearly as much as it would've disappointed me to go out, play some average shows and watch my health give way long before the tour was over! When people come to see a Motörhead tour, they expect a Motörhead show, and that is exactly what you will get as soon as I am fit and ready to rumble.
Your patience and understanding is appreciated...and know that I'm getting stronger and stronger every day, so watch out next spring Europe and we will see you then.

They had Skew Siskin supporting a couple of years back also, alongside Michael Monroe.. he was surprisingly good...
This may be the beginning of the end for Lemmy... lets hope not, but 40 years of putting stuff up his nose, a bottle of whiskey and smoking 60 a day has got to catch up at sometime...

I saw them at least twice at the Glsgow Apollo - 'Bomber' and 'Ace of Spades' tours, can't remember the support acts but I do have tinnitus!It may well have been the first gig I'd been to and worth the three days of being hard of hearing!

Support acts don't always get a hard time; I remember two or three at the Apollo even getting an encore. But yes, some did get pelters - I particularly remember The Broughtons, supporting Ian Gillan. The singer took it gracefully, acknowledging the chants of "f
k OFF!" with "thank you very much" and "really appreciate it".
