Have you got the new album? Its a bit different, I think, but a good listen and he hasn't lost his edge at all.

In all honesty, I have no idea how many times I've seen him. Certainly started at a few free concerts in the late 60's and definitely the Hyde Park gig where he dissed Pink Floyd. Best ever was the Valentine launch at the Rainbow - st, 1974 - and the 60th and 70th birthdays were brilliant too.

I'm glad it isn't just me anyway. Enjoy the gig and hopefully Jonathan Wilson will play some stuff of his new album too.

An odd evening and hopefully by the time he gets to Bristol it will be better. What a man though, 72 and singing as well as ever. And the songs are just so brilliant.

Well the Bristol gig was incredible. The string/brass ensemble was fabulous, particularly during songs such as Me and My Woman, and I'll See You Again. Hallucinating Light was a show stopper. 73 years old, and as relevant as ever.
